Kobbarikaya Mavidikaya Pachadi


Ingredients:

Coconut -- 1 cup of cubes
Raw mango -- 1 small , cut into pieces
Channa daal -- 1 tsp
Urad daal -- 1 tsp
Mustard seeds -- 1 tsp
Cumin seeds -- 1 tsp
Green chillis -- 4
Dry red chillis -- 2
Curry leaves -- few nos
Asafoetida -- pinch
Salt -- to the taste
Oil -- 1 tsp
Turmeric -- pinch

Method :

1. Heat oil in a pan, add all the seasoning and let it splutter till golden brown and keep aside
2. Add coconut ,above seasoning,mango,salt and grind with water if required
3. Add seasoning again with mustard,cumin and curry leaves.

Goes well with hot rice

Preparation time : 10 min

  2. I got mango pulp preserved with salt and turmeric...so am using it..btw in NJ v are getting mangos
